I encounter this self-depricating tendency in so many others and it troubles me. When I think of God's goodness, and everything He has done for my life, I cannot help but be overwhelmed by His love for me. This gives me security in who I am and what He has called me to be. The natural response is to pour that love out to others. Thank you, Patrice for the encouraging word this Monday morning! Very insightful devotion.
