Have you ever felt inadequate? Have you felt like you did not belong or fit in? Have you ever felt like you just were not enough? Are you feeling inadequate right now? How do you overcome those feelings?
It happens to every one of us, those moments when we feel as though the world is on our shoulders. We don’t know if we can bear it anymore. We consider giving up, throwing in the towel. We don’t feel equipped to carry out the task and wonder if it is worth all the trouble. We have made too many mistakes. These are the moments when we cry out “Father, help!” But sometimes the help does not come the way we expect, nor does it come right when we feel we need it. We begin to wonder “where is the Lord when we need Him the most?” He was there for Jesus, exactly when He needed Him and He promises to be there for you too. But you may say, “It’s not the same because Jesus is the Son of God, and as a matter of fact, Jesus is God. His sufficiency was not just in God but He was God. He was perfect and sinless.” Can God be there for us in the same way He was for Jesus? Log in to read the full article
