We believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19, Luke 3:22, 1John 5:7).
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God to man and is the infallible and authoritative rule of faith and practice (2Tim. 3:15-17; 1Thess. 2:13, 2Pet. 1:21).
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life and sacrificial death; His glorious resurrection, exaltation and soon return (Matt. 1:23, Heb. 7:26, 1 Cor. 5:21, Matt 28:6, 1 Cor. 15:4, Phil. 2:9-11).
We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus. This salvation is received through repentance and submission to Jesus as Lord and Savior (Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 10:8-11, Titus 3:4-7).
We believe that water baptism by immersion is commanded in Scripture as an outward expression of an inward work. It is a declaration to the world that the believer has died and risen with Christ to walk in newness of life. All who repent and believe in Christ as Lord and Savior should be baptized (Matt. 28:19, Acts 10:47, Rom. 6:4).
We believe that the Lord’s Supper, or Holy Communion, is a symbol of our union with Christ and partaking of His divine nature, a memorial of His suffering and death and a prophecy of His second coming (2 Pet. 1:4, 1 Cor. 11:26).
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit as subsequent to and distinct from the new birth. It endows the believer with power for life, witness and service, and is accompanied by supernatural manifestations, deepened reverence for God, an intensified dedication to God and His work and a more active love for Christ, His Word and the lost (Acts 1:4,8 Cor. 12, Acts 8:12-17, Heb. 12:28, Acts 2:42-43, Mark 16:20).
We believe in the relevance and the role of the local church as one of the key instruments for ministry accountability and the fulfillment of the great commission.
Scripture provides no basis for an independent ministry outside of the Church. The Lord Jesus Christ has established the Church to be the instrument through which His work is carried out. It is our belief that every independent ministry as well as every born-again believer must be affixed and attached to a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church. An example of this can be seen in the ministry of the Apostle Paul: although his ministry did not begin in Jerusalem, he was submitted to the church in Jerusalem. NPIM is submitted under the spiritual oversight of Anthem Church.
We believe that every individual is created in the image and likeness of God with the ability to know him through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to know his or her calling, gifts and skills and is responsible to faithfully live to fulfill God’s plan for his or her life through the stewardship of the talents that God has placed under his or her care.
Unconditional love – We must demonstrate our love for our God and neighbors in how we serve.
Faith – As committed followers of the Lord Jesus Christ we firmly rely on God and His Word to meet and carry out the goals and objectives He gives us.
Entrepreneurship – Each of us have been given gifts and skills based on our abilities. We must be committed to using them and inspire others to use theirs. We must work as unto the Lord and not unto men.
Excellence – We must strive daily to exceed the world’s best in everything we do while striving to meet the standard set forth by Jesus Christ.
Focus – We must strive to maintain a given course that sustains and builds our mission to fulfill our vision.
Learning – We must listen to the Holy Spirit to understand and be obedient to His direction. We continue to improve our curriculum and offerings by learning from the best models in our industry.
Truth – We strive to walk in alignment with the Word of God as revealed by His Holy Spirit.
